Excellent service at MoS!

I took my '05 Cooper S in today because of a persistent tire warning light and an alignment. Michael Creason told me I needed two new rims and two new tires. This was not news to me, unfortunately. I indicated that rather than pay the price for the two new rims and tires, I would purchase an entirely new set of rims and tires. Long story made short, Michael suggested I have the tires and rims drop shipped to MoS and they would take care of mounting them and doing the alignment. Not to mention the number of things Michael suggested as part of my warranty service - which was awesome since I was previously unaware.

From start to finish my service at MoS has been nothing short of outstanding. I had low expectations going in, but this has made me wish all of my cars were Minis.

I guess if you are prepared to buy new wheels and tires that's great.

Me, I couldn't afford it. For $30, I had Craven tire confirm that there were no road hazard punctures in either of my two leaking perf run flats. Then, they confirmed that the bead seals were leaking and while they sealed and remounted them, they confirmed that the wheels were not bent.

I'm just jealous. I'd love to get four new KDW-2's mounted on ASA JH6 wheels from TireRack. When the original tires are only a couple of months old with less than 5k miles on them, I kinda want to use them a little more....

I was not happy about having to buy rims and tires either. Unfortunately, I knew of the one bent rim and know that it can affect alignment. With the autocross season quickly approaching, I need to have the car in alignment.

After my ginormous tax bill, this was not something I was prepared for.

Well, I considered your wheels since I wouldn't have to worry about shipping, but thought they should go to someone who would appreciate their "customness".

I went with Konig Trouble in graphite/chrome. I'm ditching runflats and going with Kumho Ecstas.

Nah. I got two other sets for that!

I do wish I'd know about the other sets. I'm going out of town this weekend for a week so it was panic mode big time on Monday. But again, excellent service at MoS.
