So for all those who have LOVED Maxicooper's Pad Thai, he has offered up his uncle's place in Wheaton for our next club dinner!
So Thai it is!!!! The address is on the calendar.
This will be a RSVP event, since his uncle needs to know how much food to prepare. So RSVP on the calendar and post or PM me to let me know if there are more people than just you attending.
The cost will be $20 per person, cash bar. There will be a variety of foods for us to eat, kind of a buffett style of YUMMIE Thai food.
The restaurant closes at 9pm, but he said that if we aren't done yet, he will stay a little bit for us...So nice!

I haven't checked with him yet about the menu. Last time that I talk to him, I told him that the must have are "Pad Thai" and "Panang Curry".

Well, I would like to come out and finally met some of the DCMM people, but looks like I will be working on Thurs night.

And I love me some Thai food!! Y'all have a good time!

 

I'm working the eve shift this week (noon to ten) and will be unable to attend. :(

By the way, On the menu, some of the dishes are spicy hot but not all of them are. FYI.

Seriously though, I doubt there will BE any leftover PCC, since I'll be there!

 

I told them that this will be the taste of the real Thai food, everything will be cooked exactly the same as they are prepared in Thailand.

 

I will not be able to attend....planning a migration that involves over a million customers so that has been keeping me extremely busy for the past few weeks.

 

I don't think the roads are going to be good enough to do this, so I'm afraid we won't be attending. I hope we can do it again, so we can load up on the world's best pad thai!

 

We can put some Pad Thai in a container and bring it to the MoT on Sat, no delivery charge.

The roads are totally fine. Dry as a bone! Believe me...if I could get Soulfire out, I would be driving all over the place...but alas...I have him stuck in there good....Back to digging.

I agree with Stacey, the roads are nice and dry. Even in Baltimore City (where they have, what seems like, 1 plow ride around for 20 minutes and call that 'better' )

 

the roads are clear..if it's not too late to RSVP, I will be coming but Paul won't.
I know this is very late, and I'd be happy to just order off the regular menu and pay accordingly. Whatever works best for everyone.
