Join us for karaoke and drinks at 8:30 p.m on October 7th at Clare and Don's Beach Shack (sound it out) in Arlington. Clare and Don's Beach Shack is located at 3014 Wilson Blvd Arlington VA.

I will say up front this is not an "official" DCMM event so don't give me any grief. However if you want to do a run beforehand I will gladly show you the back roads of Reston

Why the event then? Well my Mom and Grandpa are coming to town and I want to show them a good time plus I want them to meet my friends (I will pay each of you $20 to say you are my friends ... heehee). Unlike some parents my Mom is actually pretty cool and hip; much cooler than me. Among her top 5 favorite bands - Nine Inch Nails. Grandpa is pretty cool too. In any event, I know many of you will be participating in the Cumberland Run that day so no worries. I just hope to see some MINI's in the parking lot.

 

Cool - that's an easy $20... I wonder if it will be enough to cover dinner and drinks... hmmm... of course I only have to "say" I'm your friend, right?

I could use some money, but $20 will just about cover my gas to and from, I'm going to need atleast $35 . It's a bit far for me, so I doubt I'll be there. Especially after the long day at MHTH.

 

Uhhh, are we even going to be back from MHTH by then? I think we will be out for this event, although I really love karaoke! but thinking of driving from Frostburg all the way back to home, and then to Arlington, just isn't in the books for me. If it were another day maybe...Have fun!

Well now that I know people like karaoke we will definitely have to do it again soon.

Sorry about not being able to make it - I wanted to, but I just got home about 10 minutes ago! Loooong day, but fun!

Definitely try to set something up again next time they're in the neighborhood!
