Quote: Jen, Kurt was kind enough to volunteer me ( ) to work out the details for the run up. I'll be talking with Eric of Helix to sort everything out later on today. As soon as I know more, I'll make a post!

-Paul!
Go Paul, its your birthday, back in DC, Go Paul.....

I'm pretty sure I'm going to make this event. Going to see how well the mental health is holding by the end of the week, that's what is going to determine if I participate. Unless someone wants a navigator, in which case I can do that too.

Here's where we're at so far...

The plan is to meet at the rest stop on I-95 located between DC and Baltimore with a planned setoff time of 09:00 - from there we'll freeway motor to I-476 near Swathmore where Eric from Helix will meet up with us. The twisties are located off of I-476 and Eric is working with myself and Paul! to get a decent route map. We should be arriving at Helix by Noonish, doing burgers and photographs throughout the afternoon.

This is a low-key event, and the focus will be to hang out with other regional groups at Helix as well as meet other folks and get some good tech info about mods for your MINI. This will NOT be like Dragon where Eric was a task master installing pulleys/intakes/suspensions etc...

Eric will have a hose avail for individuals wanting to suds up their cars and get some nice pics from the vendor providing the shots.

Well, work has reared its ugly head again... this Friday is our next network outage... which means an impossibly late night, and the inability to attend the run on Saturday, since I'll be "recovering" in bed all morning. Sorry I will miss out on meeting up with Helix and the NEMINI folks - I hope you all have a great time!

That's NOT funny!!!!

(My next birthday, I'm 30!! )

(Well, physically anyway. Mentally.... )

Oh, to keep this on-topic, I have to talk with Eric to make sure, but it looks like I'm not going to be doing much. Krut left me a message today that Eric is pretty much taking care of the run, and since were just freeway-motoring up there, we should be good to go!

If you're not feeling up for the drive but you want to go, my passenger seat is empty!

I am probably not going to be able to decide until Saturday morning. I was driving home last night realizing all the crap I need to take care off before my vacation and thinking that I probably need to get it done rather than drive up to Philly a day early........ isn't that just very responsible of me?

hates responsibility she does

That's a real bummer Jen. But I hope you can get things done at least.

I'm afraid I'll be a last minute decider too. Juggling parent's doctors appointments and boat repairs. Just got a badly needed part (for the boat not a parent) I've been waiting well over a month for. On the bright side I just worked two 90 hour weeks so if things calm down I might be able to take some comp time and catch up.

Are you trading her in when Mia's sucessor is delivered? Or is she going to be sold privately?

Rival, I'll be heading down from Stamford. Disappointed too that there are no mods going on, I wanted a pulley! I'll be going down I-95 to NJ Tpk to Commodore Barry. Figure I'll leave Stamford at 6:00, meet you at the Alexander Hamilton Rest stop (1st southbound rest stop) at 7:00 or at Molly Pitcher (3rd southbound rest stop) at 7:45. Let me know. Rgds, Michael
