[Sat, Sept 23] Philly Cheesesteak and Helix Run
I just had DDP in the shop, who is the owner of HiRev Imaging (www.hirevimaging.com). He is an amazing photographer who specializes in car shots. He is willing to set up a car photo studio with backdrop on Sat. the 23rd and shoot anybody's car. I think that he would charge a nominal fee: something like $25/car and give the owner a 8 by 10 glossy as well as a digital file of their car. We could turn on the hose and provide suds for those who collect Delaware bugs on the trip up. I am also going to post this on PhillyMINI and maybe NEMINI as well. Any interest?
Hi Eric - thanks for the plug! I used to post on here back in the day when I owned an '02 IB/W Cooper - and still go to Helix for Bimmer work. I'll have a full setup down there for shooting - or if you want to do a more grungy, industrial look, we can always use Martha Street as a backdrop!
I would be mailing the 8x10's out to the owners after the event, as I can get better print output in my office - these would be true photo quality 8x10 glossies, camera used would be a Nikon D2X for those interested in file size.

Looks like we'll be joining you guys! I had planned my birthday run for that day...but seeing there is nothing wrong w/Cheese steaks, Helix, and photo's....we're heading down instead of up! See you all then.

Newer NAM members won't remember this guy but he was one of us early non-S modders - even started the original (and inspirational) "Regular MC owners with Mods ..." thread.
As I recall, you were getting frustrated with the need for more hp/tq when you suddenly came across a gorgeous Z3 M-Coupe.....am I in the ballpark? Still had the FrankenMINI when you started the pro photo biz though, right?
DCMMers - take advantage of this guy's offer, you won't regret it!

Jen, Kurt was kind enough to volunteer me (
) to work out the details for the run up. I'll be talking with Eric of Helix to sort everything out later on today. As soon as I know more, I'll make a post!

. I'd do my best to make it if it were that day.
