Where are you, Big Dave?

What's happened to ya, mate? You seem to have disappeared.
The natives are restless to participate in another driving event....any thoughts?

Count me in on the new shoes department too... new wheels & tires, also JCW - but the older design (R95) because I like them better.

I'm eager for a good run!

I'm not sure exactly when I'll get my MINI back, but it's any day now...

I don't think that DCMM has been to the mountains this year, right? I humbly recommend that some enterprising individual grab one of the western VA mountain drives and set up a run! The roads are probably a bit drier out that way too, or at least had time to drain!

I have a couple on my little website here, and I think that Tom has a modified version (and better IMHO, IIRC) somewhere!

I'm really getting itchy to drive on some decent roads again! The P'cola flats are driving me nuts! (pun intended! ) I have to drive about 3 hours north just to get to a hill!

Keep dry all!

Coopercops has most of a route done way way out in Western MD. I was camping out that way last weekend. There look to be some fantastic roads. It would be a two hour haul (give or take) to the start point, but perhaps we could arrange overnight accomodations somewhere and go up the night before and have dinner.

That would be pretty cool, have a weekend run. It definately needs to be posted and planned out way ahead of time.

Has anyone heard from him since then? Do we have an Event cooridinator anymore?

I got an e mail from Dave Thursday that his computer has died or something and he has been losing e mails etc. Not sure if this explains the absence from NAM etc.

HOWEVER, I know from experience we DO NOT need an event coorindator to have events. He's just a coordinator. The events can be planned, manned and executed by anyone who wants to do them.

Step up, steal Paul!'s route, set a date and off we go.

Aww, I feel remembered!

And if anyone wants help in setting up a new route or modifying an old one, I'd be happy to help. If anyone's interested, send over a PM, and I'll point you to the atlases that I used, how I picked the roads, how to give the appearance that you're organized and know what you're doing ( ), etc.
