Just another look at the pictures for those who want them!
Well here are some pictures! Fantastic quality. Both sides have the same design, sewn together. They come off the flag pole very easily and even "crackle" LOVE them!!! They are $10 each, and as of this post, I have 7 left!

Now I have a stubby atenna so I will have to come up with another way to put it on for runs, but it is so nice! Can't wait to get them out to ya!

Attention Everyone!!!!

In lew of our missing EC, I need everyone who is going to Marks on Sunday (I'll send them with Jay) or on the vinyard run to PM me or post, so I have an updated list! (I want to make sure since I don't know if the one on the thread is correct to bring your flags) and everyone who isn't going to the vinyard run on the 29th to PM me or post and make suggesstions and look at your claenders for a run/meet so I can deliver your flags! I am ONLY mailing flags to Donna/Mike since they live in CA.
I am not able to go to Kings D. nor the tubing, so it has to be sometime before MTTS!!!!! August is going to be really hard for me, since we are moving into our new place, but I will try to get them all out to you.

Hrm... I'm not going to be able to make it to Mark's or to the vineyard run (I'll still be out motoring, except down to Louisiana!), but I'm going to be at KD and the tubing - maybe you might be able to hand mine off to someone who'll be going to King's Dominion who can pass mine off to me then?

PS - did I see Soulfire this morning? I saw an EB/W mini with bonnet stripes in my rear view mirror on 50 this morning...

Well, I will have to think on that one. We are going to have everyone sign for them... an assurance that you paid/recieved product...so I don't get caught in the middle of all it if people lose them, I am not responsible... If that is what you want, ask someone who is going to KD/vinyard run if they will sign for you. I just don't want people coming back to me stating that 'hey I didn't get mine, where is it?' kind of thing.
And Nope, it wasn't me on 50. I'm usually on 270

Well, I did a speed test run on the flags........ We cannot go over 80MPH!!! We are going to purchase another flag because we lost it Stacey is going to sew the top and bottom of ours so than the opening of the flag is smaller than the **** on the post. She is sewing the bottom because the flag bunches up at the top. Something to do with the aerodynamics of the MINI. I do have a suggestion though, need to cut into the flag where it wraps around the post. Cut a slit on top and the bottom. Use a clear/white zip tie and than the hole is smaller than the post **** and it won't fly off. I will explain and show you what I mean at the cookout.

Ok and here is what we have left. We have 6 left now. I had to buy another one because on our speed test, we lost it on the highway... Better us losing one than EVERYONE!!!

Zip Tie Test

It worked. Stacey was going well over the limit and it held on and didn't loose the flag. We are still having the bottom bunching up issues though. I am going to talk to you all Sunday and see if we can figure this out.

I brought the flag into work tonight and the gals here thought that some super glue or gorilla glue on the bottom may do the trick?! We shall see. The tests continue with the test flag!!! But like I said, better for us to lose one or two than everyone to lose them!!

I may have an idea... but I need to see the flag first.
Im pretty good at figuring out things like this. The art college education comes in handy at times.

Ok! First installment of flags are out! Remember...DON'T drive with them before you zip tie them to the pole!! We already lost one!!! and I only have 4 left now! So then next installment will be given to you at the vinyard run. I will have zip ties with me and a little seam ripper so we can at least poke holes and attach the flags to the pole...Now I just have to hear what Sally's idear is to keep it from bunching up!

Ok, well then, can some kind trustworthy soul that reads this that's going to be at the vineyard run please let me know if they can volunteer to sign for / pick my flag up from MiniNurse and bring it to the King's Dominion trip, as I'm not exactly going to be available to get it before then myself? *puppy-dog eyes*

I hear that you all didn't take the zip ties!!!! OK THEN Don't come to me if you lose you flags! You HAVE to secure them to the pole or they will fly OFF!!!! We already lost one, and I am not traversing the highway looking for it. So anyway, either buy small zip ties for it, or we have TONS!!!

Please bring the zip ties and the stitch remover on Saturday... I definitely want to get this sorted out quickly.

I have small clear ones that are perfect! and a small seam ripper that will put the right sized hole for them. If you can wait till Saturday, I will give you some, or you can of course use your own. We bought 100...so that should be plenty.
