We will be returning the monies paid for the 3x5 ft flags. Marina and I talked and it is just too expensive to order the amount that we have right now. We will keep them in mind though! for a later date... but right now, it just isn't possible for us to buy them now. Sorry!

I'm going to look into other vendors for the 3x5 flags. At this particular vendor, it is just tooo much. I will keep you all posted though, since I am seeing that there is more interest! But who knows, maybe we can get them!!

 

Aren't there some larger 3x5-ish flags already? If we go with that same vendor, wouldn't there be no setup fee, because they should already have the setup?

 

no, those are banners...different material( vinyl/cloth material ((banners)) vs. just cloth ((flags)) )

Just a feeler, but how many people would be interested in a 3x5 flag? The average price per flag online is over $30. I am trying to find something a little less, and am hoping that maybe I will get a coupon or discount for ordering more with the current vendor...We shall see...

Any plans for DCMM Grill Badges?

 

I'm hoping that with the shipment we may get a coupon or something, HOPEFULLY!! This vendor is actually the least expensive that I have found, but I am still looking. The majority of places are asking $80-90 for each! So Im hoping the sale continues at this site beacuse if we get enough people, we may be able to get them for just around what we were planning earlier. I just hope the quality is good with the car flags! the reason they are so expensive is that I was asking for 2 ply, like the car flags so the design is seen the right way on both sides...


Havent thoguht about grill badges! Good idea, but I am NOT going to take on that one!! LOL

 

Maybe Sam will make one, so he can make more money off of us like he did for the MOTD06 badge.

 

That's a cheap shot, Will. Nobody made you buy one... and as I understand it, a good portion of the profits from the badges were to be given to DCMM. I'm glad he did it, they are very nice badges, and yes I bought one too.

 

Just to clarify: as of today no money was donated to DCMM from the sales of these badges... unless there is another DCMM account.

IMO trying to profit from a non for profit organization membership while serving as Board of Director of such organization can be considered "conflict of interest by association".

Ok Back on the topic of this thread!!!! Here is what they sent me today, the proof of what the flag will look like. The colors we are using is the red and the blue from the US flag, so those colors should be recognizable! It is a white flag. So there is the three colors... SORRY the link didn't work....it tried to send you all to my hotmail account..
