I have already killed the crackberry. I sold it on Craigslist the other day. I now have a pseudo normal phone.

90% sure he just took the SIM card out, and put it in something else, perserving his address book, account, and phone number.

 

Synchronized it with my MS Exchange server and it all ported over to my new phone.

 

Have you asked your buddy about taking care of CTD while you're away on training?
