OK, we got BR&BIV and Stacey's bday celebration accomplished. Time for yet another fun gathering. Bring your Dragon photos, videos and memories to my house on the 3rd. We can watch the videos and hang out. There will be pizza and sodas (NO SPAGHETTI!!) and ....cake! If you want alcohol, bring it.
We can celebrate anyone's bday that falls on or near the 3rd (mine happens to be the 6th).

OK..here are the details...

WHY: cuz
WHAT TO BRING: Dragon photos and videos and the means to share them with a group. I have a big honkin' TV with a reciever, so I think we can plug into that somehow. I also have a ancient projection screen...somewhere.

I have 3 guest beds for those of you who don't want to travel after the celebration.
I will post directions when I can get my hands on our good map, which is in Paul's car...which is at work at the moment. Otherwise, you can GoogleMap our address above.

DIRECTIONS:
Get on Rte. 50 from the easternmost side of 495. Exit 19
Go approximately 30 miles EAST on 50.
After crossing the Severn River bridge, take the next exit #27 to Rte. 2 NORTH, towards Baltimore.
You will see a sign for 648 north right after getting onto Rte 2. IGNORE THIS ONE.
Past the ignored sign, you'll come to a traffic light. Go through it (after it turns green, of course) and look for another 648 NORTH sign, approximately 1/4 mile past the light, on the left.
Get into the left turn lane as you will be crossing southbound Rte.2 to get onto 648 NORTH.
Once on 648NORTH, go approximjately one mile.
At that point, Old County Road vees off to the LEFT. Make that left onto Old County Road, and go another mile or so. Our house, 627, will be on the RIGHT, just over the crest of a hill.

Our driveway will hold 6-7 MINIs with careful parking. If you arrive late, you'll have to park on the street on the right, right before our house. The street is called Road's End. It's a dead end, and very safe to park on.

I'm not able to make this event as I will be SCUBA diving in Bermuda. I will be away May 30th until June 4th.
My MINI will be @ Tate the entire time I am away getting front fogs and driving lights. I was told there was only ONE front fog kit left in the US as they are no longer going to offer it.... I found this a bit difficult to beleive.... They are also going to try and locate the noise I am complaining about in the front wheels/tires.

 

I'm scheduled to work that day... Trying to get it off...

They fixed the latch already when I was in on Tuesday They said "it was out of alignment"

I also got to see some cool fly bys while the air show team warmed up....

It looks like I've got the day off.

We're scheduled to work 1 Saturday every 7 weeks, and if we do, we get the following Monday off. Not bad for a military schedule imho.

I think I know why none of us ever got any...I kept seeing her with a water bottle with some suspicious red liquid with fruit floating around in it....

 

I had to keep myself from been dehydrated during dinner registration ;-)

I can make food too. Last barbeque/meeting/thing at your house my food disapeared quickly. If anyone wants me to make the dumplings again I can (probably on a smaller scale).

80% chance there's travel this weekend, and I'm one of the two guys on the list. The other guy is up first, but he's green. We travel in pairs, so if the other guy travelling is new also, I'll have to go... But if the other members is experienced, then I'm off the hook... Kind of.

The other guy on the list happens to be my watch partner... So if he goes, I have to cover Saturday... But I get off at 4pm. If he doesn't go, I go, and won't be back until sometime next week-ish.

So like I said, I'll keep you updated.
