Anyhoo, as for a going away event, I'm more than happy to meet in DC somewheres for a drink or more the night of the 8th... (krut graciously volunteered his couch for the night and his Cooper (the 4 legged kind) to keep me warm!

(And this takes into account time after the event to show Ms. works on how to properly abuse a CVT transmission! I didn't forget!)

I know Krut is in DC but since we are already in Annapolis for the Minis by the Bay can we do something in the area... and yes, Paul! you can use my couch and my GSD.
Maybe we can have a MINI Parade over the Bay Bridge and find a place by the water.. . A few weeks ago I ended up somewhere around Kent Island (I think it was KI) don't know the name of the town or the place but this joint is water front, with plenty of parking... weak margaritas but fantastic view..
Any other suggestions?

That would be fun if no-one minds paying the $2.50 bridge toll to get over there.
Forget couches...I have a guest suite! A real bed, and your own bathroom We could go to Annie's then hang out here if y'all want. We can turn the stereo on in the BoomBoom Room (our new great room) and party on...there's a liquor store less than a mile from my house if folks need more beer or whatever...
We definitely need to do something to say good-bye to Paul...

It's the MINI polo in the colder months, and Hawaiian shirts when it's warmer!

And I've washed the polo once or twice... I just wait until it walks over and asks me for a bath! (Kidding... It's actually starting to look faded from being washed/worn so much... )

Alright all, here's the plan. Tonight, I'm going to be in DC, hanging out with Krut and ?. He's leaving for Ireland next week, so it's gotta be this weekend. Plus, I've got stuff going on tomorrow down here, so it works better for me. Next Friday (the 14th), I'll be crashing at someones house in/around Annapolis, and hanging out up there, likely with Katie, Marina, James, Janelle, and whoever else shows up.

This should work out best for everyone, and this way everyone gets their fair share of Paul!

If you want to know my exact whereabouts in DC tonight, call/text me on my cell phone number. It's on the route sheet handed out today, and on the route sheet linked in the MINIs by the Bay II top post.

actually...my mom will be here next Friday, but she does go to bed early and I'm pretty close to the CBB (Chesapeake Bay Bridge), so I might be a no-show..or I might be able to join you guys a bit later in the evening...
