Edge - You left a DCMM welcome card (with a nice note) on our 02 DS/BL MCS on Monday. A couple of times a week my wife (the original MoonPie, although she is MoonPie17 here on NAM - long story) is over in your neck of the woods near gallows and 50. Getting your card gave me a jolt and helped me rember my more active days in the club and even pre-club! Carolyn and I are both members (must remember to put replacement DCMM sticker on the rear window!) but have not been active. Primarily since I returned to school two years ago. Thankfully that will all be done this June. Also we started autocrossing. However I am going to try to make the Sterling Mini breakfast so perhaps I'll see you there.

In any case, keep putting those cards on Minis and keep motoring!

MiniMiller & MoonPie(17)... I am very happy that you guys liked my note! I have seen your MINI so many times parked there on Williams Drive - I come down there almost every day to go to work... but every time I managed to come outside from the office to tag your car, it was gone! This was often since I was running late for work, so I couldn't stop... and I had to have some "presence" there before I walked outside again.

As a matter of fact, so frustrated was I by missing the MINI so many times, I actually "pre-wrote" that card several months ago, and kept it in my car, ready for the right day when I'd be able to catch you guys. I'm glad I did.

As you will see from my recent posts (#382 & #384) on the "Was It You?¿?¿?" thread, I especially tagged your MINI because I didn't see a DCMM nor a NAM sticker/decal on your car... but I sure did notice all of the Dragon decals and the "Rules the Bends, Bends the Rules" decal on the back. I figured that it was a good chance with those, and your license plate, that you knew about DCMM & NAM, but I tagged you anyway just to be sure.

I got an email from MoonPie as well - please thank her for me... unfortunately she'll have a hard time "spotting" me this week, as she suggested, since I always park in the multilevel garage behind my building... but I work directly across the street from where she parked (3040).

In any case, I look forward to meeting both of you in person at the Sterling breakfast, and I hope it sparks a "re-activation" in the club!

Well, you know Donna, unless you lick it and stick it on the inside of the window(as our good old pal Mr. MoneyBags did) they just fall off so easily I have a spare and will put it on the next time I find time to clean the rear glass!!!
