Thank you for your email. Normally our tours are booked up months and months in advance, but you are very fortunate as I have just received a cancellation that allows me to offer you two places on the tour that begins at 18h30 on Thursday 1st December. Please let me know asap if you wish to take these places.
It would help to know what is available from there... could some of the people who have done the tour before please elaborate on that?
Also, what did Matt and Paul ask for?
Matt (CmdrVimes) asked for a couple UK movies that are only accessible there and Paul suggested I visit Wagamamma's or something. He wanted me to bring back something from there, but I'm not sure it'll make the return flight. I'll just take a picture
Well, it may not be easily available there either, because it's mostly an Australian thing... but if you happen to find a nice BIG jar of Vegemite, please pick it up and I will very happily reimburse you!
Please note, it's Vegemite, NOT "marmite" or any other kind of "mite"... those are totally different things, and they are blech.
Matt (CmdrVimes) asked for a couple UK movies that are only accessible there:
More specifically Simon Pegg stuff. Spaced (BBC sitcom) and Shaun of the Dead. Yeah I know Shaun of the Dead is out in the US (I have it) but the UK version has some stuff that didn't make it to the US version.
Oh yeah, before anyone starts in on the region coding and video standards, I'm already well aware of the differences and have things to handle them.
We took the Oxford tour in September. It's amazing and I'm sure you'll love it.
My wife isn't really into cars, and she thought it was great.
My roommate/friend went with me and she's not that into cars either, but she seemed to have more fun that I did!
I had a great time and although we weren't allowed to take pics of the actual plant (for obvious reasons) I did get some great pics of the A. Powers and Italian Job MINI's they had displayed. It was a lot of fun, and if I can, I'm moving to Oxford and getting a receptionist job with MINI.
Did you take the Holiday on MINIUSA Website or just on your own?
3hrs?
Any other tours?
I want to take my girlfriend to england and hit up the factory in Oxford.
