Good-bye to Vince and Bea
Good-bye to Vince and Bea
For those who did not know, yesterday was the last time for a while that we will see long time DCMM members Vince, Bea and their CR MCS "Chillibit" on a run. They are in the process of retiring and relocating to the beautiful hilltops of Kentucky -- and are already members of Blue Grass MINIs!
Vince did a great run for us earlier in the year up in the Shennadoah Mountains and they have been great supporters of the club.
You guys will be missed! See you at the Dragon and hopefully sooner.

I suck. I wanted to announce their departure from DCMM and the area during lunch, but I completely forgot until it was too late!!
Anyways, it's sad to see you both leave! You'll both be missed!
Good luck in Kentucky, and may you have 'fair winds and following seas'!!
-Paul!

Many thanks for the wonderful times
DCMM,
Bea and I expected to merely evaporate, scarcely leaving a tire print of our passing. But the kind thread and kinder words do count. We remember the first time we attended an event and eventually asked John DeCrema for the lowdown. He got us on track. Since then we have gathered many happy memories and they are really all about people. You might thing they would be about cars or routes but mostly they are about people. So many kind, friendly people. That such things exist in the small pressure cooker of the metro area is quite remarkable. Mini's seem to provide an excuse for people to be nice to one another. Quite remarkable.
We will be at the Dragon again next Spring and hope to see many of you there.
We have begun our next adventure. There is an excitement that comes from not being able to quite see around the next bend in the road. Yes, you do know what we mean. We arrived in Kentucky late last night. We have tons to unpack. If anyone if headed this way, give us a shout. The best way is likely on NAM. We now have chilibit.com as a domain but we have not gotten anything set up yet.
Ciao,
Bea and Vince
