As previuosly posted we will be very happy to host an after Parade drink (or two or three) at our place in Annapolis (2 blocks from the City Dock) but I'will not cook. We could order something or stroll to the Irish Pub a few yards from our house.

So are the #s good? I mean can I bring one or both of our families MINIs? My sis heard me talking about it and really wants to come now.

While I have some decorations that I'm wiling to share, I don't have enough to do all the cars for the Naptown parade. So, if you're not going to the DC parade but plan on being in the Ntwn parade, bring decorations!

The Annapolis Parade is Full

MDSBRAIN are you and your sister members? If you sister is not a member Paul and Kathie will have the rigth to drive both cars. If both of you are members than flip acoin with Kathie.
Tate MINI tried hard to get the loaner(Pepperina) back in time for the Parade
but the lady who has the loaner was not willing to come back to Annapolis to switch cars Never the less Darren from Tate will be coming with his wife
(they are expecting their. first baby) He will be driving a new Blue with white Bonnet Stripes . If we have another red MINI with white bonnet stripes we could make up for the missing white MINI. Do I make sense ???

This afternoon we tried the MINI RUN after after Capitol Hill parade and is quite fun(is nnot 450). It will start from Bowie I am not sure the exit # from RT 50 and I am not sure about the time we will beging the run so I don't know if we can actually meet someone in Bowie.

I need to know how many MINIs are planning to come to this run.

Tomorrow, I will be keeping it casual at my house. I'll have some snacks and sodas. If we want, we can get take away at any number of places. Swimming at our community beach will premise on whether it's crowded, as parking there is limited. Bring bathing suits and towels just in case....there's always the sprinkler and/or water fights.
Again, please remember to bring your own cleaning supplies, including what ever you need to dry your car.

Sorry, I had planned on being there tomorrow for the Annapolis parade but a family matter has come up and I will not be able to attend.

I guess this opens up another spot for someone. I'm really bummed I can't be there...

Kind of wish I were attending - but I'm enjoying my last day of vacation in the wilds of northern Maine.

 

After the Capitol Hill Parade, BluCub and me will stick with the group going to Annapolis. Any number of runs are ok with us

 

I know its the 4th so Red, White, and Blue is called for. But what about Club items? I think wearing my club T-shirt would be perfect. ITs RWnB and helps advertise the club

 

We'll be both wearing the club shirts.

For the run after Capitol Hill tomorrow morning, we will take US Rt 50 E from DC to Bowie.

Then take Rt 3 / 301 SOUTH as if we were going to Baysox Stadium.

From there, it's Governors Bridge Road almost all the way to Riva Road BUT
we turn left on St George Barber Rd.

Then it's right on Rutland, then right on 450.

450 to the Naval Academy Bridge, then straight up Rt 2 to Katie's.

Marina & I will lead and sweep, so our lack of a proper route list (sorry!) shouldn't be too much of a handicap.

I'm not really sure what I'm doing.

Planning on both parades, but havn't really thought about the time in-between, except the DC-Annapolis run.

I'm interested in deco too... But I guess we'll see.
