So my MINI is about to get a little sister, a tiny Stella Atomic Fireball scooter! The Stella is a modern interpretation of the Vespa Px scooter from the seventies. Fireballs are limited to 150 units, and come as shown in the photos, complete with flames,etc.

My question is this, how many DCMetroMINI members also ride scooters, be they Vespa, Aprilia or whatever?

Yeah, I'm waiting for the Lambretta myself. I can't think of anything that go as well together as scooters and Minis - classic or new. It's like Jack & Coke, hamburger & fries, me & Charlese Thereon (OK, I made that one up).

I've owned a Lambretta and 6 motorcycles until I fell off one of the latter. The reason I have a Mini is because my family and friends won't let me back on a two wheeled vehicle. Steve

I'm in DC every other weekend, currently live in Atlanta and have been a vespa & lambretta owner since 2001.

I'm heading to the Bmore rally May 5 and the DC rally June 2-4.

Come out!! - there are a few DC'ers that ride vespas, lambrettas and love the Minis.

I know a ton of people around here, but in the scooter community my most infamous riding friend is John Stafford.

I also know the Vespa Boutique folks Gerry and Ginger, and a few others. I'll probably be at the DC rally on the Stella. Baltimore is a little far to ride that thing, though I did it last year.
