I saw a Silk Green (white roof i think) near the intersection of Routes 32 and 26 today. Not sure if it was a club member or not though.

--Spotted a Blue MC or MCS in front of the Old Navy off of 66 by Golden Corral and Kohls and Borders (I think) Anyone want to claim?¿?¿?¿?

 

CR MCC yesterday at around 5:30pm at the intersection of route 32 and 26 in eldersburg.

White bonnet stripes, white side vinyl graphics that said "Cooper".

I should report him to MINI USA, it was ~70 yesterday and he had his top up.

 

Gray MCS on Rt 198 yesterday around 3:45-4:00 p.m. headed toward BW Parkway. You got in the turn only lane but then switched back over into the straight lane. I got off at BW Parkway. I clapped my hands with joy when I saw you. You beautiful thing you

 

Red MCS this morning, headed south on Prosperity Ave, waiting at the light just before Lee Highway. License plate was "ITLN JOB". I was driving the opposite direction on Prosperity. I tried to wave but you were looking down at the time. Woman with a white shirt on. Love the plate. :smile:

 

That's two blocks from me (1200 block of 28th Street NW), but I won't get my MCS until next week! We should meet for lunch. Do you work/live in the area?

Work at the Four Seasons. Live in Arlington. There has been a Red MC on 29th Street just across from Suntrust for a few days now. I am out of cards to tag it......

Lunch would be fun or maybe drinks. It's something I have thought about before. There are a couple other owners in the area perhaps we could round up one evening to go to Sequoia or something and sit outside?

 

decrema what were you doing in brevard county? i live in titusville across from kennedy space cenr=ter, and work in cocoa, there a lot of minis in this area and a big club presence(sunshineminis.org). hope you enjoyed your visit here!!!

 

ALright, someone needs to say hi to me again! I saw two MINI's yesterday and neither one of them waved back at me!! GRR!!

It was a gray MINI (not sure if it was MCS) with white bonnet stripes getting off the BW Parkway at the Hyattsville exit from the Baltimore direction. I was at that stoplight right before the exit onto the BW Parkway twoards baltimore. I think it was a black woman on your phone? I waved but you didn't :(

This morning I saw a blue MINI Cooper headed towards Baltimore on the Parkway. I waved but you flew right past me! I was headed toward DC



God, I sound like a stalker!

 

Sunday we saw a Hot Orange MCC (MD PLATE) with the top up (we were driving Stellina) and we made so much noise 'til the driver (middle age man with family on board) put his top down.

This is the type of people who are legally authorized to drive a MINI not like those who pretend you don't exist and are afraid to look at you.

Who has a yellow Mini with white 18" wheels that was being serviced at Sterling last saturday? Nice car!!

I saw a couple Mini's who waved at me over the last couple days, but it was too late to wave back.. :smile:

 

Elec.Blue MCS tags [COOPRR S] parked in Huntley Meadows community guest spot, but wasn't visiting either Z3Bum nor I. ?

 

A lot of sightings today!

--Silver MC on Prince William Parkway and turned heading towards Buckhall Shop

--Silver MC or MCS on Prince William Parkway waiting to turn left at the Liberia Ave. intersection

--Blue MC or MCS heading down Mathis Avenue passed Putt Putt Golf and turned left onto Liberia Ave.

--And then the big sighting! Poor Mini was caught in the Prince William County Police Shoot-Out with a Suspected Drug Dealer. Drug Dealer rammed several cars before being shot and pulled from his SUV but the Mini was in the far front corner away from the action. Didn't look like it had any damage done to it. But it was within the Caution Tape so I believe it had to sit there for a couple of hours. Poor Mini and Mini Owner. But it was a beautiful Mini. I believe it was Purple I was more interested in the crime scene!

Any others??? Not that I can remember!

 

Today going South Bound on Rt 3 just outside of Bowie. A 05 PW/B MC.

I was doing my usual routine, driving in the left lane with the other hot cars.

 

The morning of June 6, about 8 am, turning right from SB 18th St. on to N St. Cool Blue/W, DC tags CF-____ (didn't get the last 4 digits).

 

BRG/Blk w/ Bonnets stripes heading down Yates Ford road around 7 this morning stuck in traffic.


Red/British Flag roof turned into the Mobil off of Liberia near Shoppers and Wal-Mart (Close to the Parkway)

My friend Alan saw you in the Dupont Circle area on Thursday night... I was on the way to pick him up and take him to a birthday dinner. I didn't manage to see you though, but I was only a few blocks away at the time. Thought you might like to know that YOU were spotted!

 

Sorry not possible. I was here in Manassas out at dinner and home around 7 or so and in for the night. Sorry to ruin it. But it couldn't of been me. Are you sure it was spelled "MNEEME" w/ FOP Tags? I'm sure there was some difference there. Sorry but it wasn't me! I wonder who?

 

Well, he only told me the tag said "mini me" on the phone, and he didn't spell it out HOW it was written... but I figured it was probably you!

Its alright. I figured it was something like that. No big deal. I'm waiting to spot a fellow DCMM Member on the road. Still no luck yet. Well atleast that I don't know of seeing there aren't many responses just more of "I saw"s lol

 

Yeah, it can be tricky tracking down owners. I'm gonna try and "tag" a few MINI's at work, but security could flip at any given moment. With my luck, they'll fingerprint the damned business cards..
