I'm pretty sure you can't look them up online in Maryland, but I could be wrong. I remember talking to someone about going to the MVA with their list, but I can't remember who it was.

Our plate is "Cricket" - it only took 2 months of waiting and 3 hours at the DC DMV to get.

My wife just ordered the Horse Enthusiast plates, and her plates now read: TAKROOM... as our MINI certainly doubles as one some days.

Yeah there is no website to check the MD plates...if you need to know in a timely fashion, you have to go to MVA with your list and they'll look them up for you....thats what i did this past friday!! only took an hour to wait around

but i got my first choice!
much better than sending in the form and waiting to see what shows up at your door.

Mine is CLUBBY1 as it was the first reserved Clubman in Arizona. I named him Otto, but still call him Chubby Clubby a lot.

Very, very true. Has anyone tried calling them to see if they'd do the same thing over the phone?
I'm from Virginia and our DMV phone lines were horrible. I have no idea how they are here in MD, but lets hope they're much better (...and faster) than their on-site service!
