Not sure what you mean - only applies to the DC Metro MINIs forum.

I'll rename the thread to reduce confusion.

I understand what it means but I don't like it either.

Call me lazy, but I liked the "one stop shopping" of reading NAM and the DCMM forums all at one internet site.

Small PITA, enough to reduce the amt of communication in the club, I'm guessing. Time will tell.

Have you checked out the new DCMM forums? We've gone over the reasons and the benefits of this change in plenty of detail there, in the Site Feedback area.

That is not correct. We have a public area that does not require membership. We will also be making more adjustments and changes in the future, both in the member area and in the public area. The new DCMM forums are an ongoing evolving project, and they will go in the direction that the club takes them.

I don't understand what you meant by "non-paying members"? Maybe you meant guests? Membership in the club is "membership" in the new forums. They are one and the same now. It's a far more efficient process than anything the club has ever done before regarding membership.

However, anyone can register for a forum account and post in our "public" areas... ask questions, say hello, etc. Guests are welcome to stop by, always.
