I registered a while back, but have not received any confirmation from Phil Wicks. Do you usually get anything in the mail from them?
New sway bar went on a couple weeks ago, new front brake pads were installed this evening, should be able to do a brake fluid flush next week and I will be ready!
Still don't have a room reservation yet. Anyone want to share a room at the track if they have any available?
I did a quick run through of this thread to see who's in.
Here is what I came up with:
T&CMCSa
Bluzeke
Paleo
Mr EZ
R56 Ed
davisflyer (+1)
howsoonisnow1985 (PA)
minimarks (NC)
BlimeyCabrio (NC)
Pedro99 (MI)(?)
D-Unit
Lastrega
GreenCactus (+1?)
Is everyone planning on getting to the track Sunday in time for the tech inspection (4 PM) and the free BBQ (6 PM)? The free BBQ from Flow MINI is a nice touch.
I hope to do a better job with Oak Tree this time around. Can't wait. .
As I recall from the last event, I received an email confirmation about 1 week prior to the event. If you are uncomfortable waiting, you can send them a quick e-mail and verify that is correct.

Just got my confirmation email from racerwicks. Yippee!
"All on-track participants must have numbers on the cars, a minimum of 6” high on both sides of the vehicle. This can be accomplished with white shoe polish".
You can pick up a product called Glass Chalk. It's like shoe polish, but comes in different colors. Works great on back side windows/comes off easy with windex.
Here's a track layout to print. At best I'm only lucky enough to do these tracks once a year. I've found it helpful to use a track layout to have notes to help get refamiliar with a track. You can jot down brake zones, RPM, apexes or whatever.
We're in for a caravan. I think we met at 9am in Centreville the last time. That worked pretty well. Should we do that again?
Sounds like fun, but I'll be going down MD 301 to 17. If anyone wants to join me, I'll be leaving Edgewater around 9am and the cruise control will be set at the posted limit + 7. Can't afford to get a fast driving award from the LEOs... but we can all try to get those on the track!

I'm up for a new route! I drive slow, so I'm fine with your pace. Where should we meet?
I would like to join the caravan! I can meet you in Port Royal, Va. on 301 about 20 miles past the Harry Nice bridge. Horne's is there at the intersection of 301 and 17 and would be a good pit stop.
