Hail Damage...

So, has anybody else in the Annapolis area found any hail damage to their vehicles?

Unfortunately, a pretty big hail storm blew through saturday afternoon, dropping what could have easily been 1" diameter hail all over the place. I was at work, and could not run and move my car to a covered area, so while I was out today in the sunlight, found plenty of little dimples in the roof of my car. I was amazed as to how long the storm actually lasted, I would say that there was 5-10 minutes or so where hail was dropping. I really wish that I had done what others had done in the shopping center, and actually drive up on the sidewalk under the breezeway to protect their vehicles.

So, any others caught in that storm the other day?

Oooo Chase, sorry to hear about that.

We got the storm in Essex but no hail. They had a tornado watch in Harford county, but I didn't hear of any hail up this way.

Maybe a paintless dent removal guy can repair the sheet metal.

That was some storm!

I live outside Annapolis and was having a heart attack watching that hail hit my car during that storm. Fortunately, there was no damage for me.

Sorry to hear about the damage I wasn't here for the storm, but saw some of the damage when I got home. Glad you're okay, though! Best wishes for a satisfactory recovery for your MINI

Say, just a thought... you know how golf ***** have dimples in them to make them fly farther? I wonder if the hail dimples in your car might improve acceleration, mpg or top speed?

Well, Good to hear that nobody else really fell victim to the storm! I think that I will be heading to a PDR place to see what they can do.... I think that I'll try to take my headliner off before I go....

I ran into a hail storm while on the PA Turnpike yesterday, noticed at least one ding on my hood.

Do Check, the hail did seem to get really big! The largest that I have ever seen it! I do hope that noting had happened though!

:( Look carefully in daylight, it really does stink to find dents that weren't there before quite a while down the road.

Chase, have you turned in the claim to your insurance company ?

Make sure you do that before any repair work starts !
