Tonight, James (my better half ) is one of the contestants on Jeopardy

some of you know him as he attended some runs and some autocross days

Cannot say the outcome of the game so you have to watch it...

Wow, awsome job James! I did record this successfully on the DVR. Sometime over the weekend I can enocde it and put it up on personal page if anyone wants, and Marina, I'll make a DVD for you...

But it'll be a couple days, I'm exhausted. Too many projects going on the past week. :-)

Way to go, James!! Those questions were ridiculously hard. Dave and I were only able to answer a few.

 

Great job James! I had everyone in my studio (and 2 people picking up art) watching the show. We were all rooting for him!!!!! I was hoping for some gangster rap during the interview portion.

 

I didn't see the post until after the broadcast. I look forward to seeing it in digitized form though!

 

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Yeah, I had that guy beat, but I couldn't put him away. He was a great champion, a great competitor.

It was an unforgettable experience, and I encourage any of you who have ever thought of being on the show to try!

I didn't get to see the program. Bummer !

I tried out for Jeapardy while stationed in Germany. Made it past their test and one round of interview/questions. Then got axed.

I'm impressed with anyone who can make it onto the show, let alone almost win.

 

The champ immediately went hunting for the Daily Double when he got control of the board near the end and skipped to the $2000 question...not much you could do about that! As Laura noted, we both felt the questions were on the hard side (both absolutely, and for Jeopardy).

 

I remember the hat... alright... unfortunately even if Jeopardy board said James won $ 36- 37K (no bad for 2nd place) only the Champion gets to keep the money actually won... James left with $2,000 and after travel - hotel and party expenses there is nothing left for a new hat purchase . Sorry Jonathan maybe next time ....
