My stomach was going "burble" when I got home..... ....wow that was a good lunch ! I did as I said and chilled out in front of the tube watching a mindless movie......"Herbie, full loaded".....yup....pretty mindless...but then Herbie's cool, always loved the originals as a kid.

Great lunch and it was great talking to everyone afterwards.

Here's a website listing the different MINI colors for those of us that were having that conversation.

I did the same thing!!! I believe my car obsession (and thinking they are alive) came from watching too many Herbie movies when I was a kid.

Lunch was thoroughly enjoyable and so was the company. I just have one

question - did Ed ever give that man and his sister a test drive. I believe

he DID say that the white MINI was available for testing.

Nope, no test drive, but we had a nice chat and they are definitely interested in the cars AND the club! BTW, somebody ELSE volunteered my car for the test drive!
I don't remember who it was, but if I do, I may have to let you buy me a beer to make it up to me. The trauma of thinking about letting a stranger drive Dr. P is enough to drive me to drink. No wait, no driving needed. Just a quick trip downstairs to the martini factory!

is 24 too young to have the early stages of Alzheimers?

but my ditziness means that there could be a 2nd attempt at this???

this time, i'm giving you all my cell number, so you can yell at me before hand to get off my rear

Yes-Yes ! Same Indian Time...Same Indian Channel......So how about a run before hand ?

I've called upon the best Guru snake charmer to provide us with a clear, safe and exciting route....and he insist there will not be any Cobra Masala on the lunch menu.

The route the guru has planned is very nice, it has a few difficult places to deal with (left turns) but if I can get some mid-pack support and a good sweep we should be fine. The run takes about 2.5 hours and will lead you through some of the best (IMO) roads you will find in this area. Some which contain a real surprise or two if you're not on the ball !

What da ya tink ?
