Maybe it might be a good idea to get an idea of who WILL be at MoT for the breakfast... I mean due to Carlisle being on the same weekend and all....

If i recall correctly, Towson didn't want to give club discounts anymore. is this true. I remember at the last breakfast up there, they were trying not to give it to someone trying to buy oil (i believe). I wanna get my checkered rear view mirror cover, but I want the 10% off, otherwise i'll get it from Morristown. Anyone know the deal on this?

 

Yup sorry to miss this. (Carlisle bound too) but not to worry to new folks, the majority won't be at Carlisle but at Towson. Just wanted to say sorry I'll miss this and MINIs by the Bay V. I'm doing a 4 day weekend in PA for the show, my twin nieces birthday (they're 6) and my B Day (I'm more than 6).

 

I guess I'll have to clear this up on Sat. I didn't know they were refusing the discount. It should be on parts only, so maybe they don't consider oil a "part".

 

I was just at MoT this past week and got my 10% off, no questions asked.

They just needed to see your current DCMM badge.

 

ah..that could've been it, person didn't have a current badge...no badge no discount, folks. I usually keep mine in the glove box, that way it's always with the car, at least.

 

check Morristown anyway.. when I purchased some stuff for my GP, MOT with the 10% was still more expensive, actually even MoS and MoA had best prices than MoT.

 

yea, morristown is 20% off, but then there is shipping, and on cheaper items, i may end up breaking even with the 10% and no shipping cost. no biggie though, we're talking a few dollars.

 

I might be able to make this one...whoo hoo!

 

Oh, that was Bev and I. Just a misinformed clerk. He gave it to us anyway but we've been back there since and we didn't have a problem. They just asked for our badge to photocopy for the records. So they still are giving the discount...you may just have to remind them.

O yea, and I just remembered something exciting (to me). sorry for the off topic-ness, but with my new Discover Open Road card, i get 5% off of all automotive purchases, including labor. anything bought at the dealership should qualify, i hope. so i guess im gettin 15% off total. pretty good card to have if anyone is interested.
