What's the worst that could happen ?

1) State Police starts cracking down on "Hells MINIs" and arrest the leader and sweeper taken to their cells....never to be seen again...MINIs sold for the Policeman's Ball.

2) The caterer doesn't show and fist fights break out for the potato chips someone brought ?

3) Someone forgets to set the parking brake and their MINI rolls into the lake

4) The R/C car shootout erupts into a knife and gun fight because someone is cheating with stick 'em on their tires

5) Glenn, Bev and the Caterer show up then realise they told everyone that it was Sunday not Saturday

6) Mike, Leona and Wensleydale are tied, bound and rolled off Sugarloaf Mountain for being Smarties.....

So really, a small hiccup with the rsvp, a little confusion and a President without Internet (oh how I feel for you when you're at the dragon and I'm not )

No big deal !

Looking forward to this Sunday and the Picnic ! YES !

Cheers,

Mike

Excellent news! In finalizing the catering plans with a manager from Hard Times Cafe, Christine was informed that kids 12 and under are free!

Well, that's the official version. The reality was that Christine cornered the guy, roughed him up a bit and he caved in to her demands that kids 12 and under should get a break and not just the 6 and under crowd!

She's one tough cookie and I'm glad she's on our side.

The pricing list has been updated as following:

Members: $15 per person
Guests and Non-Members: $26 per person
Kids 13 to 17: $15 per kid
Children 12 and under: FREE

Great job, Christine!

Kind of a precaution against people that didn't pay or against people from the other shelters that start to migrate over to our area.

With 40 people we wouldn't have a problem but if we get 100, we'll need help policing our food. If anyone sees someone without a name badge grabbing a burger...sic 'em!

Oh, that's too FUNNY !!! I really didn't have to try that hard, but I'm glad that kids 12 and under are FREE! I think folks with kids will be happy .

If you have submitted an RSVP via email you've been sent a paypal invoice. If you do not want to pay via paypal, that's ok, we won't make you! Please just make other arrangements with any member of the Picnic committee. That's me, MrMellowYellow, CCC777 and Maxicooper.

Guess what.....I may not be in town for the picnic I'm really bummed, I'll know more next week.

I'm really torn but this is a great chance to do some flying of a "history making" system. I'll tell you more about it later.

So, that's "my" Dave. Whenever we go somewhere and I let him drive, it never fails, he's in the wrong lane. It doesn't matter where we go or what direction we need to turn.

We have 3 days to go before the day the we have to send the number to the caterer.

It is DCMM picnic, it's our own event, by members for members, and we need you.

I believe I paid (for 2) and I'm not on the "paid" list . Don't worry, I'll still help organize for the picnic! Gotta still get a few more stuff at Party City!

Come on, sign up everyone! This is going to be a picnic/DCMM event you will never forget!!

Thanks, Chris !! I hope we get at least 50 people by catering deadline (May 21). Hard Times needs a MINImum () of 50. I'm getting worried ....

Is it too late to RSVP? I've been buried in house buying drama and completely forgot about this.

ETA: I can paypal my portion if it's not too late.

For some reason the "paid" list looks alot shorter than the RSVP list that I remember seeing... if I remember correctly, that list was pushing 40 entries. Any idea as to how many people (as opposed to MINIs) are paid up to attend ?

Some from the early rsvp list hasn't been registered yet. Hopefully, they will do before May 21st.

For information of how to register please go to the link below.
