Just a thought on the RC cars - is the parking lot all we got? If the asphalt is rough, it'll be tough for some of the cars. A tennis court or other concrete surface would be great. If an alternative isn't available though, the parking lot is fine, just thought I'd ask.

 

Unfortunately, the only space will be a parking lot. We have talk about this when we went there yesterday and it seems no choice.

Another update is needed... I will not be attending the run... because although I plan to bring two MINIs tomorrow, neither one of them is large enough for me to sit in.

Just some reminders for the folks doing the run tomorrow morning.

1) We're meeting at the MD Soccer Complex (see directions in post #1). If you're having trouble finding us once you're in the complex, put on your two-way and we'll direct you in.

2) Meet and Greet around 9am but Bev and I will probably be there earlier.

3) Driver meeting around 9:30am.

4) From 9:40 to 10:00, Maxicooper has a photographer coming to take photos of our group.

I'm actually hoping to leave before 10am so whenever we're done with the photos, we're taking off. Please keep this in mind. Please, don't show up at 10am, we may be gone already!

5) Don't forget your two-way radios. If you don't have one, there are usually some extras that someone will lend you.

6) Don't forget to fill up on gas before the event.

7) Lastly, this is a social event so bring your good cheer and your smiles. We have some pretty good roads in store for you all so let's have a fun, happy and most of all, safe event.

Hey this is my first real DCMM run, and I just got a two-way radio. How do I set this thing up? Maybe I'll show up early so somebody can show me

 

Main chanel is 7, then set the sub chanel to 21 and you are all set.

 

I've got a pair of boxing gloves in the boot for those that want to fight !

Ok, so I'm kidding, Leona is gone for the weekend (business) so I'm just humoring myself I suppose.....ok, I'll shut up now....see you guys in the a.m. !
