[Sun, Mar 16th @ 10.15am] St Paddy's Day "Parade" Run
I picked up a huge drum repair contract, and I just finished what I needed to get done before Monday
And St. Patrick was really insistent on going, so I caved. We'll be there
He's a bit under the weather, kinda pale, and is suffering from a lack of exposure to sunshine, so Chris (MaxiCooper), we're counting on you to get the sun shining! He says he'll hook you up with a pot o' <something> if you take care of him. Sounded like gold, but it could have been mold, guess you'll have to ask him yourself.

And Christine would be a terrific sweeper
If you break us up into a couple of groups, we'll need helpers, anyway
I'd only break the group up if someone really is comfortable with the 86 miles and 43 turns and wants to lead a group.
The only tough part for a group this large is the first 15 minutes of the trip, through the congested area of Ellicott City. After that, it's pretty much country roads and shouldn't be too difficult to keep the group together.

Hi all.... I just took my delivery today at MoS and I think I might run up for a little rally with you guys.... I have been driving all over the place today and my back is killing me... but wow is my car a blast to drive.... I got the addy so hopefully ill meet some of you up there .....
Still raining here in Eldersburg, but it's supposed to end around the time the run starts. So... no rain while driving, but wet roads for the first hour or so of the run. I may be having to stop to wipe the rear window of the convertible so I can see if I still have any MINIs behind me !
The temps are going to dip down also between now and the beginning of the run. It'll be in the mid-30s when we start... so dress appropriately !

Yeah, I washed Dr Evil too... by the time I get to Ellicott City, he'll look like he hasn't been washed in two months. But hey, it's not a car show, it's a car run, right ???
Would've been nice to run with beautiful, clean cars but we'll just run with beautiful dirty ones instead.
And we'll be glad to have you. And since chase dropped out earlier, that worked out well.

This was from MINIs by the Bay in 2006. It was really raining during that run, but somehow we had 45 or so MINIs... And boy did we have fun! We even had to cancel the second part because of road flooding!!! I think a little rain won't hurt! JUST NO DIRT/MUD ROADS
I did a practice run last week and I didn't find any dirt/mud roads, Stacy. Of course, we didn't do the last 10 miles of the run. But I'm pretty sure there are none on that part either.
Probably shouldn't bring the convertible today but it's all ready to go... who needs to see out the back window anyway ?!

And I AM bringing Cecilia, those little back windows are overrated anyway! That is what you have side mirrors for!
Sure you don't want to wait ?!
Your Cecilia will not look to bad today... Jet Black... beautiful when clean, but when dirty, REALLY dirty.
Great time guys! Sorry we had to bail after lunch, but having MINI stuff all weekend, Jay and I wanted a little time to rest! Glad to meet some new people, and hope you all had as much fun as I did!
