[Sun, Mar 16th @ 10.15am] St Paddy's Day "Parade" Run
Had a great time today, folks !! It was a good showing, especially given the way the weather started out today. Enjoyed everyone's company and it was a pleasure to meet some of our many new DCMMers.
Here's a few pics that Roxanne took today. She tried to get every MINI in at least one pic. Hope she succeeded !

And by the way, whichever one of you went out last night and rotated that road sign... GOOD ONE !!

I'm sorry I couldn't make it today.
I was swamped from work and other things since last night, until now.
Thanks to everyone who join the event, well represent indeed.
I wish I could make it.
By the way, don't forget this month photo contest "Wet'n Wild".
I'm sure there will be some great images from today event. Send them in.

Thanks to everyone. Rachael and I had fun, and got to test the NUVI's intersection search feature more than once. Bonus, I just installed a JCW shock tower brace and rear sway bar. Both performed very well, and the MINI was doing great in the twisties. Now for some light wheels and tires...
See you all next time.

Thanks Chris for doing this..it was fun. I also had to bail after lunch to catch up on some rest. I hope y'all had fun for the rest of the run.
Who won for best decorations? I hope Laura did cuz Cricket looked really cool.

Laura's MINI came in second place and yes, she did a really nice job. Ed won with his St Paddy's Day Witch Co-Pilot... that was REALLY good ! Several other MINIs were really well done, too, should have brought some more prizes !
There'll be lots more runs coming up, especially now that the weather is improving. Keep on eye on the DCMM forum !
And congrats on picking up your MINI.
As well the EVENTS CALENDAR is always at the top of the forum screen. That will take you to the month calendar page and you can see what is coming up and can RSVP.
I am sorry you missed it. We will be having more runs coming up, so keep your eyes peeled!
When we miss an event, we anxiously await photos so thanks to everyone that's posted! They help those of us that couldn't make it feel as though we were there in some capacity.

Wow, HUGE THANKS to Chris and Roxanne
!!! We all know how hard it is to organize and lead a run, especially a group as big as yesterday. You guys did a fantastic job! I really enjoyed all the beautiful scenery (I get to see more and more of MD on these runs...didn't know how gorgeous this state was) and meeting all the new folks...and seeing all my friends. I was so pooped after yesterday (and a full day Saturday) that I took a 3 hour nap afterward
. Sorry to all who missed it. It was way fun!!

Glad you all enjoyed it and, Christine, it would have been MUCH harder to pull off without your help. We never heard Ed on the radio for the first half of the run, when we had 22 or 23 (not sure which) MINIs in the run.
So you're work on the radio made our jobs MUCH easier... THANKS !!!
Marina... what's the story on the tires ?!
And I'll be sure to pass the words of appreciation on to Roxanne.
