Toledo Pro update please!
Hey guys, I'm interested more in hearing how Heather Everett is doing. GH and Jeff, I know y'all were there and you're probably on the road back home right now. I heard this afternoon that she rolled the Potocki R56 today and was rushed to the ER.
Any updates on how she is doing? How it happened?
Our thoughts and prayers are definitely with her,
Dan

I didn't see it happen, but I was on site. I heard that she is OK although beat up a bit. Latest news before I headed out is that she is being kept overnight for observation as a precautionary measure. A VERY scary incident for sure, I am very very thankful that she was not seriously injured. The car did it's job for sure and protected the occupant.

Hi guys,
I talked to her husband this morning, and they were just waiting for the OK for her to be released. She's going to be pretty sore for a while, but no real damage.
I need to say a big thank you to the SCCA national staff (Cindy, Sandy, Lyle, Robert, Elaine and their daughter) for all the help and attention the gave to Heather and me.
My biggest thanks go out to Mike Snyder and Sam Strano, who went quite a bit out of their way to make sure that I didn't have to do anything to get the car home.
It was another example of the autocross community helping someone without question.
Thanks,
Mike

Wow, Mike, sorry this all happened. What are your thoughts on cause? I ran a Divisional event this weekend where we had some quick transitions from a hard right hander to a hard left hander where I lifted both rear wheels one after the other then entered a slalom and can see if the front tires were pointed a wrong direction it could flip the car.
I'm glad all is well and hope you can get things ironed out smoothly.

Hey, guys. Unless you know the couple very well and you feel comic relief would help them, turning this thread into comedy about car color is totally inappropriate.
A fellow MINI driver/autocrosser has been seriously hurt. Please show some tact and respect.
A few friends of mine were on scene and descibed how very scary it was. I wish Heather a quick recovery.

Hi guys,
Don't worry, we enjoy the joking. I was going to post that white roofs slide further.
Heather is home, and is still sore, but is otherwise doing fine.
The car held up very well, with no deformation of the body structure.
Yep, it was scary, but nothing that would stop me from running a Mini again.
Thanks,
Mike
