Jacking Point Spacers - awesome

I can't say enough about jack point spacers from outmotoring, jack stay in place, won't scratch or dent the frame.. Bought 4 spacers and one pad. Rotated my tires twice now, love it.

I had a feeling they would fit since the cutout looks similar. I don't know why MINI doesn't include them on CM models. I may order a set some day, though I haven't really missed them.

In any case, thanks for posting the pics!

It looks to me that you are not lifting on the area of the frame that Mini has you jack on. Seems like enough CMs have been sold that a dedicated adaptor could be made.

i grabbed 4 of them from a local bmw dealer (same part number) when i put my CM on a lift and they worked fine. i was much more comfortable lifting with them than i would have been on the lifting points.

I can see why the metal tab jack points might be helpful when using a scissor jack, but for a jack stand, or anything else I don't see why you would want to lift or hold the the car at that point. Therefore, I think I'll be snagging a set of these. When I was using my floor jack at the "official" jacking point metal tabs, it just did not give me the warm and fuzzies.

It should fit the R56 jack points, right?

Do you have to buy 4 spacers? can't you just move it around?

There's a pin in the center to push in and wedge the tabs on the block into the frame. If you don't do that i guess the block is removable.
