Standard RFs vs All Season RFs

My ALL 4 just arrived at the dealer and I will take delivery on Fri.

I noticed on the specs that the All Season Tires are not listed, but were on the purchase order.

Should I push the dealer to swap out the standard RFs for All-season if they aren't on? option is free and recomended in northern states(I'm in CT)

I have the all-season and I'd recommend you get them on, unless you're already planning on building up a set of winter tires/wheels, given your location and the season.

My MA was sorta pushing leaving the performance P7 on. but I pushed for the all season.

What all seasons come from the factory? pirellis or continentals?

Mine came with Continental Contiprocontact All Seasons. They ride reasonably well for Run Flats. Unless you go to a separate winter tire/wheel package, go with All Seasons in your area.

Question

Is there noticeable ride quality diffs between stock summer and all-season run-flats assuming standard 17" rims?

I test drove CMS with non-sport suspension and standard 17" summers and ride felt too harsh without any handling benefits compared to my GTI with stock 18" normal all-seasons.

i've got the sport suspension and 17" all seasons. ride is firm but comfortable. so far no traction issues. and believe me, I have tried.

the tires don't squeal at all with the DSC enabled.
I can get them to make some noise with the DTC enabled, but the car does't feel loose.
I have not tested the limits with all traction control off yet.
