17" wheels wanted

Greetings all!

We are awaiting delivery of our 2012 Countryman ALL4-been sitting at the dock for almost two weeks now. Royal Grey, Black roof/mirrors with standard Carbon black letherette, and Dark tobacco color line touch's. Cold weather, and pano roof only. Also went with standard 17" flat black wheels. Oh yea, and most importantly...a 6 speed manual! That's why my wife is getting out of her 09 Mazda CX-7, it was her FIRST auto tranny car of her life...and she can just not stand it any longer.

Anyway, we are gonna do winter/summer wheelsets. It is primarily my wife's car, so were gonna stick with 17' sets for now. We went with the summer performance tires on the wheels coming on the car.

We now need a winter specific wheelset. We plan on putting Nokian Hakka R's in a 215 55R 17 on them-1.7% larger diameter...and a little cheaper than the 205/50.

Anyway, anyone have a stock set of 17"s they no longer need?

I am looking into aftermarket wheels also, but nothing fancy-or pricey need apply.

Thanks for any head's up.

Looks like a set on ebay here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mini-...#ht_500wt_1171

I have no affiliation with this listing, just saw it.

got a set of factory 17" wheels from an 2011 Clubman coming...standard dual spoke Alu. Great price($300 set of 4 plus shipping)-from a great guy in Az., should be here Tuesday.

Thanks for the heads up...found these on Craigslist.

I don't mean to crush your dreams, but Clubman wheels will not fit your Countryman. The Countryman wheels have 5 holes, while the rest of the MINI line has 4.

Glad they're not the wrong wheels. That would be very frustrating

Id also like to point out that the general wisdom concerning tire size for winter tires is if anything to -1 on the width as opposed to +1.

wheels arrived as described-near perfect. All cleaned, polished, and awaiting TPMS. Got OE Beru's from Tirerack-cheapest anywhere-$218 shipped for a set of 4.

Tires are Nokian Hakka R 205/50/17's-about 3% shorter than stock.

TPMS should be here by Thursday, I'll have them mounted/balanced soon after. It'll be a nice contrasting wheelset, as the summer set is the Anthratite(sp) twin spokes, and the winter set is silver.

I'm starting to think about white wheels and learning that they are hard to find. I did a search and found this place http://www.wheelcollision.com/coup1.htm Nice white wheels. I'm hoping to find something a little closer but if not then I'll try this place. So, any knowledge with this vendor?

Thanks

Thanks for the link. I have been looking for a set of white holies for my husbands R56. I assume you know that neither of those will fit the R60 right?

Ya I noticed the 5 lug problem. Hoping to find white wheels that aren't spokey, more solid like the two images.

Thanks

You could always try and find a set of white 18" turbofans. It might take a bit, but you will probably find them eventually. I have owned my CM for almost 5 months and have looked since I bought it for black OEM 17's and just happened to find them on ebay. Good luck in your search. I will keep my eyes open.

I'm also looking for a set of 17" wheels with tpms for the winter. If you're selling, I'm interested!

I do have a set of the 17" Silver wheels for a Countryman for sale with TPMS, but they have all seasons on them. They will only fit a Countryman because of the 5 lug pattern.
