Finally applied for my vanity plate for my Mini. Since Twiggy was already taken, I opted for: TWIGGY53. Let's hope I get it.

 

What's the tariff on the vanity plate, and is it a one time additional fee? I've had my W. Va. scenic horizon plate over 15 years and it's starting to look a little beat up.

 

If I remember, the vanity plate costs me 45.00 every year to renew. It's really not too bad I think. Plus it's gonna look really good on Twiggy.

I got it, sorta. I paid and they have the plate registered now but I still don't have the physical plate in my hands yet. I emailed them today to see why it is taking so long especially since they took my money almost a month ago. I am having a hard time waiting to get it already.

 

I don't know how West Virginia works, But it took nearly 4 months to get my personalized tag in Louisiana. I would suggest be patient. Wish LA had 8 chars for a tag though instead of just 7.

 

OK, so I'm working on your plate. I'm a bit slow, but I will figure it out here shortly.

 

I will give you a clue it is missing 2 letters, and they are vowels.

 

Finally got my plate today Yay. Now Twiggy is official with her new plate:TWIGGY53!

BTW: my wife figured out the plate shown above. Pretty smart

My "need" to get a newer plate was lessened by my 2.5 hour wait last week at the DMV for a new driver's license. At least I wasn't turned away for a lack of proper identification. All four pieces, grrrrrrrrr!
