The North Central Country Roads Minis club met today at Almost Heaven Desserts and it turned out to be a great time meeting some new Mini owners, having some goodies at the coffee shop and then taking a nice twisty drive via Route 50 to Cool Springs, WV. The weather cooperated and though we saw the aftermath of last night's storms, it did not deter us from our drive. It was really great to see 4 Minis driving convoy style to Cool Springs and we sure did turn some heads.

Our next meeting date is July 28th. We will be driving to Canaan Valley, Davis and Thomas, stopping at Siriannis(sp) Pizza in Davis, and then to Thomas for some shopping at the local antique and collectibles shops. We plan on meeting again at Almost Heaven Desserts in Bridgeport, WV early(time to be announced) so we can drive down, enjoy the scenery, have a bite to eat, shop, socialize and drive back home. We'll make a day of it. So stay tuned for more as we become a growing part of Country Roads Minis club.

Thanks to John, Lee, Jim, Mark, Kara, Parker and my wife for attending. Come and join us for very informal fun times and drives.

Gave out the very first Country Roads Minis business card today to a young lady driving a black Cooper S today in Fairmont. She seemed very surprised I think that I put a card on her windown and then backed up to tell her about Country Roads Minis. It's one way of gettin' the word out.

 

They look very professional! Thanks again to all of the "authors".

 

Remember, Saturday the 28th for a great drive through some of West Virginia's scenic areas with killer views, photo stops, food, shopping and even a concert. Come join the fun and meet us at Almost Heaven Desserts on Main Street in Bridgeport, WV at 8:30 a.m. where we'll all meet up and then convoy to Canaan Valley where the fun begins. Invite your Mini friends to come along.

 

Do you know if any more than the three of us is coming? I have invitation to two others but they are doubtful.
