You are invited to join us for a short drive to a winery the second weekend of June. We'll meet in Gretna NE, and take a short drive together to a winery northwest of Lincoln. There we'll sample some wines and have a chance to socialize and enjoy the afternoon.

The 13th is the sunday of that weekend.

We'll meet at The Nebraska Crossing which is here at 1PM:
14333 S. Hwy 31 - I-80, exit 432

It's a huge parking lot for the factory outlet stores there, so plenty of room. There is also a McDonald's across the street for pit stops before we head out.

We hope to meet some area MINI owners we haven't met yet, and we look forward to seeing the MINI owners we do know!

 

The wife and I are looking forward to it.

 

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it. Unless there is runs headed over by the panhandle then it's nearly impossible for me to go on these runs as much as I want to me fellow Mini Owners.

I thought I would have my 2010 JCW by June 13 since it has been at the VDC since May 19, but it has been delayed and is due to arrive at MoO on June 15 so you'll get to witness one of the last drives of my 2006 MCS.

 

I am tentatively planning to come. I'll know for sure by Friday.

 

I plan on being there.

If anyone going on this ride does not have a name tag made up for them, please give me the following information and I'll make up a name tag for you. If you have your own lanyard, you may want to bring it along, otherwise the name tags will just have the simple white string on them.

Provide me:
Names (first and last of whom ever is attending)
Your Forum name
Name of Mini if any
State (if other than Nebraska)
Description of MINI (body color, roof color, stripes?, any other characteristics). I try to find a close match to it from the "What If" thread. If you have a particular image you prefer to use let me know.
If you don't want to post the information here on the forum, send me a private email with the information.

I also plan on being there. With any luck my wife will join me this time. The only issue is she has to go to work at 5:30pm so we'll have to leave at 4:00 so we can get back in time.

Hi Mscatnip! It's an informal group, just show up at the address above in your MINI, and you're in.

No dues, no memberships fees, just show up and join us.

That happened to me this morning. Although I wash for corrosion prevention, I do enjoy a very clean car. Good thing the stuff I use repels water really well.

I can't go with everyone tomorrow, but I hope you all have a good time.

 

Well...that was a very nice winery. My wife and I enjoyed most of the wines we tasted, and of course we left with a bottle of wine.

It was nice to meet some new members in our area. We hope you join us for another event.

It was fun to get to talk to everyone today, the weather cooperated, we had fun!
