Just curious, my MINI is supposed to be awaiting transport now. Does anyone know about how long it actually takes to cross over once it's actually on the ship? It went into awaiting transport status on Thursday.

 

Hi JMike....our 06 was loaded on the vessel 5/26/06 and was discharged from the vessel in Charleston on 6/11. It arrived at Baron in KC on 6/19 and we picked it up on 6/23.

I don't know if you've found/read all of the posts about tracking in the NAM "First Gear" forum, but once you get your Vin # from MiniUSA or your MA, you can find out which ship it's on and track it on...

I checked on it 2 or 3 times a day, and even found an ice berg tracking site to rest assured the route was clear as it approached North America from north of the Grand Banks....The waiting can make you do crazy things.

Yep was there and it was nice to meet you. My MINI is supposed to be enroute now. When I got home Friday night I rechecked it one more time and at that time it went into Enroute status.

Although I've been checking since then at the cargoTack link using the VIN but as of yet it keeps saying they do not have any information on that cargo number. Hopefully I will get something soon just so I will know for sure it's on the boat.
