I'm considering getting a Milltek exhaust for my 2003 Cooper. Can any of you with the Milltek on your Cooper tell me if you get any burble/popping on your car? Thanks...

Milltek for the MCS is very good and I get lots of compliments.
For a single sided exhaust for your MC then I would recommend Milltek for a good balance of exhaust note and performance.
If you are looking for even more loudness with burble and pop then check out the Helix13 exhaust for the MC.
You won't get much burble or pop unless you are coasting or decelerating so don't forget to rev it up then back off a bit. Roll down your windows and turn off your radio.
The GIAC software also seems to have slightly altered my exhaust on the overrun. It's got a bit more crackle.
I went back to the stock flash for a few weeks and the burble was almost gone. I'm not sure if that was mostly due to the stock software or because it was the latest software and mini reduced it. Either way, not only is the burble louder and more frequent with mth, the overall tone is sportier especially at part throttle midrange. It just sounds tuned
I have the Milltek on my 2005 MC, and while I'm very happy with it, there is zero burble/pop/etc. I think that phenomenon is more of a software thing programmed into MCSs than something an exhaust is capable of effecting.
It's definitely not just an MCS thing. I've had it to varying degrees with every aftermarket exhaust I've had on my MC (that's 4 systems so far.....#5 is going on soon).
Have you found that an intake affects the burble and pop? Better, worse or no change?
So far I've had them with the stock box and filter, the stock box and drop-in filters (2 so far), a Pipercross Viper, and now an aFe - if there was any change to the exhaust note from one to the next, I didn't detect it. I didn't hear any burbling, etc, with the stock exhaust, but I did as soon as I changed to the Helix catback, and I still had the stock airbox and filter on at the time.

I have to agree with crisneal. I also have a Miltek cat-back on my 2005 Cooper and have not noticed any burble or pop. Only a slightly different exhaust tone. A little lower pitched or throatier (if that's a word)

I'm running the Miltek on my 05 MCS and it has increased my burble and pop a great deal. Not sure if the intake has anything to do with this but I don't have the stock intake. I have M7's AGS.
I have the Miltek on my '03 MC it's a real quality piece! I have had it on for almost a week now and it gets better every day! It gives a throtier sound but not too much burbble/pop however if you run the MINI throught the twisties with the constant throttle lifts and aplications you will get some popping and burbling!!!!!
