Love my Miltek. Not able to compare it to anything else though. On it's own, the power seems nice, the sound is pleasant. I don't think there is a drone at speed, but you do know it's there. I just had my resonator replaced by the manufacturer a year after I had it installed. So you know the warranty is there.

I have the Milltek, and I absolutely love it. I can't say there's any "seat of the pants" power increase, but it's probably good for 3-7 HP based on other's results. It just sounds so much nicer when starting the car, and maintains a nice deep tone throughout the rpm range. It doesn't sing like the Borla on my '03 MC did under WOT, but it's definitely an improvement. And it doesn't sound as obviously modified as the Borla when pulling into driveways, etc.

I also have the Milltek...almost 2 years now, still love it. Perfect sound level, and tone for my tastes.

3 positives, strong ones at that. I just ordered the Milltek for my '06 Cooper. I had been considering the MyMini Touring but I decided on the Milltek. Once on I'll post another impression. It's very difficult to order an exhaust without hearing it but what I've read about Milltek's quality and you guys' impressions convinced me.

Just put it on today.

VERY nice product, high quality, sounds 'just right', not too much drone at freeway speed, nice appropriate sounding deep idle note, and great when on the throttle. Perfect for what I wanted...

Now, those pencil-**** headers MUST go....

Maybe either call Stratmosphere directly, or check with the folks at Webb Motorsports. I got the prototype for the MC from Randy. I would start with Stratmosphere first, since it is their deal.

Cheers

I generally cruise at around 70-75, and I get no drone from the Milltek at all. However, keep in mind that the likelihood and severity of the drone seems to depend a bit on the installation of any exhaust, specifically the distance of the tips from the rear bumper valence.

Love mine....perfect. Nice sound, not too loud, but on trottle....nice sound. And it burps often too, which I love....mostly when off of the throttle after hard acceleration.

Ah, not true. I have an '05 (should be the same as an '06). The Miltek fits just fine. Required a few spacers for the Cabrio bracing, but otherwise I've had it on for over a year now. Also there is a small fitment issue if you decide to get the M7 USS, but that is also fixable.

I spoke to one of the guys from stratmosphere and he said that the 06 was different than from previouse years. After the news I read I hope he's wrong.

Not sure what you mean by model. But my car is a 09/04 built. When I put the exhaust on, there were non officially made for '05 so I put on a regular Miltek for an '04 MC. As stated earlier it fit with minor adjustments to the Cabrio bracing. I have not heard of them changing anything from '05 to '06 models. Give DetroitTuned a call. They are the ones I got my exhaust through. They are a NAM sponsor and a Stratmosphere vendor.

Any1 compared it with a playmini exhaust?

Which one do you like more?

Which one is louder? I have a MTH header now with JCW exhaust. But I am looking for a louder exhaust now.
