Yah, we have plenty, but the Group Buy no longer pertains... so go to www.dori2garage.com and call them up. Ask for Tam or Carl and tell them Steve from Megan sent you.. and they'll give you a pretty good discount.

I believe the Convertible and Hatchbacks had the same exhaust system. There has been no Dyno that I know of to date on the Base model.

Just installed mine yesterday. I have an 06' Cabrio..Took about 2 1/2 hours as I was working with 4 jack stands and didn't want to cut of stock exhaust in case I ever wanted to put it back on. Took LOTS of patience to get it pulled out the back with all the extra bracing under there for the cabrio. Sounds great at idle but is alittle loud at highway speeds. My only concerns are the two rubber braces that mount just behind the resonator now don't touch the brace below them, and the back brace where all the Cabrio braces come together my exhaust is resting on it. I plan to get a small piece of polypro plastic or farnolic to mount under it to make sure I don't get a rattle.

Interesting. I find mine to be pretty quiet at highway cruising. I do know it's there, but it's not overwhelming. I can hear the stereo and have a conversation just fine. It's actually loudest when accelerating.

If he's sporting this exhaust, it's not an S.

And, here is an impromptu (22-second) sound clip: http://blu-iguana.us/mods/MeganSound.mp3

oops... me bad . read the thread, not the forum...

I've seen/heard a clip of the exhaust and it sounds really nice. Just wondering if anyone else with the cabrio is having similar issues with clearance and rattles??? also additional opinions/experience regarding noise levels with the top down. Thanks again!

No biggie. Good luck on your cabrio clearance search.

With the top down don't really notice exhaust sound from all the wind noise. As someone else noted, my 06 Cabrio is non S.. Sounds great at idle, like a british car or maybe german car does..I don't think my other issues will be a problem, and can't compare to other exhausts as most of my club members that have aftermarket exhaust kits a "S" cars...

dickdavid -

N2MINI - similar situation here also... most have MCS here. not many MC, even less MCC (prbably just me ) the only mod installed is the M7 USS... I wonder if that will cause additional clearance/rattle issues?? Anyone install this exhaust with the USS on a cabrio???

sorry for all of the questions... starting to get the mod bug

I didn't mention it but I did it at the same time as the exhaust. It doesn't come into play with the exhaust. The rubber braces/bushings that are mounted right behind the resonator that are mounted to a roughly 12'' x 12'' metal brace will be replaced with one from the USS kit. It has no way to mount the rubber pieces to it. Was going to let mine just rest on it, but with my new exhaust they don't touch that plate anyway...let me know If I can help answer anything else.
