CAI and emissons check?

CAI and emissons check?
I've been considering installing the aFe CAI on my 03 Cooper. However, I live in a state that requires an emissions (polution control) check every 2 years. Will the CAI cause any problems passing this test?

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. I think they come with a CARB sticker or whatever it is.. forgive my ignorance, I don't have emissions testing where I am. I bought my aFe from VAC motorsports, you can probably ask them: sales@vacmotorsports.com, or get in touch with afe directly at aFePower.com
Side note, it's a great intake and I like it a lot. The Way/DDM is very popular too.
