Camshaft without ECU remap?

Hello to everyone. I am thinking to install a Schrick camshaft, and my concern is, will it work properly without recalibrating the ECU? Ok, i know that recalibrating the ECU will take the most from the camshaft, but for now i want to install it without an ECU remap.
Do you think i'll have any kind of problems? Will the factory ECU be able to compensate the A/F mixture, even a bit? I wouldn't want to run lean...

Just to give more info, other mods i have are a K&N panel filter and Supersprint cat back. (Unichip sold....) And the camshaft profile is not very agressive, it is 260 duration.

RMW, any advice...? Your opinion matters

Hmm... since RMW sells a different cam he might not respond to this. You could try Mynes or Johnnies Auto Clinic?

Maybe you are right, but it's not about one certain cam here, but a general question. I just supplied the cam brand and specs, to make it more clear to those who'd like to help

Lots of folks are running the Shrick cam on stock tune..... since that camshaft was available long before widespread custom tuning was...

Most I'm aware of are on MCS's.... but I don't know that it should matter in this case.

All that said... if it were my car, I'd do a dyno afterward with A/F to be sure...
Might be safer with JCW injectors...
