Well I am on my second MINI and second exhaust. I only find the dronning annoying is when I accelerate up hill for a long time. On a side note my Dad loves it while Mom doesn't.

Vincent the quietest is the one it came with.

Do you think keeping the stock resonator would make it a tad quieter? I was looking at the supersprint muffler, with stock resonator ,but it just went up almost $100 to over $500 (find it hard to spend that much on one muffler and a couple feet of bent tubing).

I ended up with a Stratmosphere Cat Back System! Beautiful welding and just a Tad Louder than stock and a lot less weight and more performance!

Can't find it... I don't think they make it for a R50 anymore.

Well just got back from another trip to Helen Georgia for Helenblitz. Had a nice lovely drive and I still love my Megan. I even got a friend to put one on his and he also loves it.

I'm seriously thinking about buying a Megan exhaust for my 2004 Euro-spec R50. My stock exhaust is badly rusted. Most of the outer "shell" is gone, I recently welded closed a golf ball sized hole, the hangers are rusted and the clamp going around the muffler that holds it up has completely rusted away.

I have a question about installation of the Megan exhaust though. Will I need to purchase any additional parts that aren't included? Like new hangers, seals, gaskets, etc?? Is installation pretty easy if I have a lift and the right tools?

Thanks guys. Oh yeah...anyone know of a store that sells them for cheap? I'm seeing them for $360 or so on Ebay.

That's a good price for it, I would say go for it. Just wish they had one for the R56 cooper!
