Aero rear bumper on MC

Does anyone have the aero rear bumper on their MC? Can you post a pic of what it looks like?

This bumper cover started as a Cooper Aero bumper cover. Slightly modded to accept a dual exhaust but otherwise as came from MINI.

Will an MCc help?

We've since taken off the stickers as they started to peel off. I think this rear bumper is the the worst design of any that MINI offers. Fake plastic inserts are one thing. Stickers another.

I wouldn't do it again.

Thanks guys, I see no difference between this one and the JCW bumper for the MC. Is there?

The MINI Aero kit is sometimes also called the JCW Aero kit. They are one in the same.

no those are nice. but kind of a bummer to learn that there is is no function other than looks. not that i would expect great "aero"dynamics from the kit anyway. i just find it odd that rather than real vents or grills of some sort it would have stickers. maybe vents or grills would have no real function but still, sitckers kind of cheapens it imho. looks nice but, i find it disappointing.

Compared to the stock rear bumper grilles-

Stickers are lighter in weight and look distinct.

Doesn't stop you for getting the aero rear bumper and cutting out the plastic and putting in your own metal grilles like the M7 type.

Aero doesn't always mean better air flow or even lighter weight.
Mostly it's for appearance vs stock bumpers.

If stickers are too cheesy for you, try this: Drilled 900 holes into my Aero Kit
