Wow threre is a lot of Nice mods here for the MC. I have only one engine mod which is my K&N drop in filter everything else is cosmetic. Shorty antenna from a Element, black side markers, and interiour storage items like the parcel shelf center console with the e-brake tray, glove box organizer and the S pedal set. In the future I plan to do the exhaust, plug wires and get rid of the run flats. This modding is addictive but lots of fun.

Sounds throatier, I am having the resonator removed and adding a Magnaflow Hi-Flow cat to the system. I am sure that will change the tone.

Installed the Cat over the weekend. O2 sensors stopped throwing codes. Sounds great without the resonator!! Also installed MCS front bumper.

Awesome dude

How does removing the resonator work...can i remove my resonator from my borla? I know you removed the stock one since the devil isnt a cat back. Is there any change to emissions?

I don't know about emissions, but the lack of a resonator shouldn't change that. You shoudl be able to remove yours formt he Borla. Just take it into a good muffler shop, they can cut out the resonator and weld in a straight piece of pipe to replace it. The tone changed but there was not a great increase in noise.

My Cooper is complete... for now

I was hoping to take some pics, but with the snow and falling leaves, he's in a sad state... so I'm stealing one that someone else took.

Thanks to Detroit Tuned for making it perfect. Well, my version of perfect.

Anyone know how much MCS fuel filler door and pedals cost? Also, does anyone have any experience with the cat back exhaust system available from MINIUSA? Any Works stuff on Coopers?

Last time I looked...the fuel door was about 80, bezel unpainted...and the pedals, from the dealer at least were 120

Moss MINI has the gas cap for about $90 too. Poke around a bit and they might also have the pedals.

If you get the pedals thru Classic MINI you will get the 20% discount, and the gas pedal is a new assembly whick is a plug and play arraingement. Plus you will get all 4 pedals in the kit.

Hey everyone,

I am in the military and I just recently moved to England. Here is what I have done so far:

Performance
Custom intake with the K&N filter
Custom cat-back exhaust
MiniSpeed ECU remap
Custom short shifter with satin ****
Dynoed at 135hp at the wheels
Going back to MiniSpeed next week(hopefully) for springs, sways, and flywheel

Interior
Infinity speakers all around
Bazooka tube in the boot
Full row of toggles

Exterior
Cooper S front bumper and grill
PIAA 540's (complements the Xenons well)
35% tint on the sides/20% on the back

In the mail
LiveWires and Screamin Demon Coil

Cheers,
Roy
