FS: 1967 OZ MORRIS MINI DELUXE

1967 OZ Morris Mini Deluxe
It'll hurt to see her go, but the time has come to move on to bigger and better things.......well not really! Too many toys and not enough time.
Here is a real MK1 Australian Morris Mini Deluxe. It looks like an S on the outside. It's a three years old on frame restoration in Viper Red with Mother of Pearl top and stripes. The clown on the back is removable.

$14,000
Specs: MiniMania built 1380 Specifications:
73.5mm Powermax squeeze-cast pistons
10:1 Compression
10/10 Crank
Elgin CAM003 carefully timed in at 108º for best horsepower
HIF6 SU Carburetor with BDK needle
3.01 final drive, it feels like 5th at freeway speeds.

Interior: 1/2 safety device roll cage, Smith white face gauges, half leather-half vinyl interior finished in white and red. Includes two new Cobra classic bucket seats.

It has an alarm, additional electric fan that turns on by itself.

HOLY ITALIAN JOB!!! If I had that much $ to play with, I would think hard about this. What is it like to drive a RH car in our left-hand country?

that's part of the fun and the reason why we get more looks than your MCSC!

It's great on roads with good shoulders, as while everyone else scoots to the left to see around the car in front, you get a great view up the right. Downside? Overtaking, and turning left behind trucks and so on is a major act of faith. A classic mini is small enough that you are practically sitting in the middle of the lane, so you can usually move around enough to see what you need to see. Some drive-thru windows can be a pain, but real drive thru restaurants often have windows that serve the right side of the car. You can really confuse the carhops at your local drive in!

Biggest problem I found was toll booths. Fortunately, the car is small enough that I could reach over to grab the ticket and pay without even undoing the seatbelt. Confused the cop who pulled me over for speeding though.

Very nice Mini. I already have one though.
