The New K Series sub frames from MiniTech

Greetings!

I don't know if any of you have seen www.superfastminis.com lately but they have a link to their new K series sub frame on the hompage. Really quite exciting and substantially built up from their prior B subframe. Anyhow I saw the photos and wanted to drop everybody a "heads-up". I am on the edge of my seat to hear about the performance

Don't know exactly - I have an order in but I don't know when the kits will be ACTUALLY available. I think mine is the first order but I don't know how long the turnaround will take after that.

I'm a Honda dummy, but what is the thing about that motor? Is it that much beefier?

I am about to have mine done so I may as well find out now rather than later.

the K series motors have a little more displacement, and a little more power. The K20 in the RSX Type S makes 210 stock with significantly more torque than the B series, and with I/H/E and an ECU reflash, can put down in the 190 whp ish range.

I/H/E = Intake/Header/Exhaust. The K20 is probably one of the best motors ever made by Honda. I've known guys to run extreme supercharger systems on them with 11 second quarter mile runs on stock blocks. Very reliable, strong, and has a lot of potential. If you wanna learn anything about the K series motors, check out http://www.k20a.org/forum/

Thanks for that, JRI. Bit by bit I'm beginning to learn the "lingo".

I checked out that website and am likely to peruse the info at depth once I get a feel for the new car...if and when it comes.

Thanks again!
