I was thinking this front end on a wagon would be sweet for the hot rod look I am going for.

I believe the Riley elf to be the same as well.

The fenders are the same, the front Mini panel can be modified into a Riley/Woolesly panel so you need a good hood and the chromey bits...

I was wondering that. I thought that may be the case.

Which I believe are just about as rare as rocking horse poop at this point!

An Elf Van would be rad though!

Well guess it's a good thing that I have allot of work to do before I can start this project in earnest. I now have the tie to start the search for the chrome bits.

Oh, and Minimad has convinced me to make it a wagon.

I used to have a Riley Elf Mk III but someone had bodged up the front end for me long before I bought it. The grille and some other bits were there, but the lower vents were replaced by some octagonal shaped chromed holes. It didn't help the look! At least I can spot the car if I ever see it again...

You would definetly struggle to get genuine parts, try a company called somerford minis 0044 1249 721421

they should be able to help you or at least find someone who can.

Cool, thanks, and I do not care if they are "genuine" this is for a hot-rod inspired Mini wagon.

Those guys got an e-mail or website?

I picked up some extra badges for the Equinox and the British Open from them. Quite nice to deal with.

This nice '65 Hornet MK III belongs to Richard Thomas from Oldwick, NJ
I didn't get a shot with the front on but I was surprised at how much more
room it had in the trunk and around the engine because of the shapes of them, I got the info from the SVRA race results, pix taken at the SVRA season finale last Oct. 05, at Road Atlanta

Just wondering if anyone else had any leads as I am again pondering getting a front end to build a wagon.

Turky's in Charleston, South Carolina has a couple of complete Rileys. They are rough and he doesn't give anything away.
