Not even close to the only one.
I saw a Mini in New Zealand once with a 454 Chev motor stting where the back seat used to be. Still front wheel drive. Those Kiwis are crazy!

Bummer. And Sunday afternoon, I was just sitting at home watching movies.

I have a photo lying around somewhere of a Mini van (traveller body shape) that had been converted to a drag car. The rear was fully tubbed, monster engine in front, there's a cutout in the windshield where the blower intake sits. Seat was about 3 feet back from the original mountings. The thing was very quick, since the only weight in the car was the engine and the rear tires.

I'll have to see if I can find the pic.

That Mini is sweet!

But why a steering wheel? - extra weight and not really needed. To turn right, press the gas. Turn left, let off the gas.

(Or is that the other way around?)

that only works if he left it as front wheel drive. I'm gonna guess that that silver van is now RWD, and an absolute monster of an accellerator!

Check out this British V8 in a Mini Clubman, squished up in the front where it belongs, a sleeper,
