FS in CT: classic Mini 16V Specialist components drop in motor/trans

SOLD, forgot to mark this

Hey guys

I have decided to leave my 94 classic stock and enjoy it. I had purchased, waited for, and spent considerable time and money shipping a Specialist components 135hp BMW head 16V twin came 1380cc motor with electronic FI and ignition. It's ready to drop in with custom beautiful headers, and everything you need to convert a Rover mini. A minor harness change would be necessary for an older car. Engine only has dyno break in miles. Was very pricy, and took 6 months to build/receive. Anyone interested? Price has gone up and these motors are even harder to get into the US - makes for a 1 of a kind mini! I wish I could have found a motor in the US prior to the craziness and extra costs I got myself into. Give me a ring, I can forward the full build sheet.

Will this fit in an 87 with A/C?

Hmm, likely but not sure with the A/C. An 87 will need a different harness most likely.

That seals the deal, then! Seriously, I need to get an idea on labor for doing the swap, plus a new harness.

heh

Harness should be about $500 from specialist depending upon your year. labor is hard to say, I was planning on doing a lot of it myself so I was banking on 40 hours. Specialist says they can do it in a weekend, but these guys are not mortal.

I would be using Donovan's in Lenox, MA. They are specialists, and perfectionists.
