I'm in the market for a classic mini and there is one on ebay with no reserve. It is a 2000 cooper works classic mini that looks like it's in great shape. It seems cheap at the moment as well. What do you guys think? Here is a link:

Didn't stay cheap....went for 21k.

 

He originally had it posted for $39999.00 buy it now.

 

So either it went for 'half-price', or the original buy it now price was overly 'optimistic', otherwise known as 'unrealistic'.

This car comes up for sale every couple of months, always with an outrageously high starting bid or buy it now - I asked the seller some simple questions during one sale and got no response

 

I think he has it for 29k right now on Ebay. Its beautiful and would love to have it but wouldnt think of paying that for it.

Its amazing what one of these "last 500" cars goes for over here. I wonder what kind of documentation its has to prove it really is one of the last 500 when its has had its VIN plate removed and swapped for an older car in order to get into the US (illegally). Not going to start a re-vin flame war (I've personally owned two rev ins), but its insane what this guy wants for this car when you can get the same car in the UK for low teens.

 

He's already come down 10k...who knows, in a couple of years after relisting it 50 or 60 times it might be at reasonable price point!
